Here is one more: water your grass using sub-surface drip irrigation. checkout www.NetafimUSA.com - for the last few years Netafim has helped consumers reduce water consumption by 50% - watering the grass sub-surface. It is much more effective then traditional pop-up sprinklers and uses half the water.
